NISIG Cork Family Meet up Nov 2025

Thank you to all that turned out for the NISIG Family meet up in Cork on Sun 30th Nov 2025.

It was a great way to meet up, as the parents could catch up with each other.  And find out all the connections they have!!!  More importantly for the children to get the chance to run amuck indoors on such a rainy evening.  

Some of the children had met each other at the last event and caught up where they had left off.  While for others it was their first meet up but you wouldn’t know as they looked like firm friends.

From a parents point of view what more can you ask for, to see your child(ren) playing so happily with new friends.  In the future these same friends may be the peers they can go to with any queries they have about their donor story.  By facilitating this bond in their early years we are giving them a gift of support as they grow.  Whilst also having the support ourselves as adults.

Thank you Michelle and Sarah for your continued support in arranging these days as they have such a huge impact for the families.

We will keep you posted on our next Cork rendez vous in the New Year.

Be it two families or twenty two families that are able to attend on the day, the number of people isn’t relevant.  These meet up provides a space for parents that share a similar story to catch up and the kids to get to know each other.
